Hello,

Where do I start........Man I'm 21 came to Florida to go to Nursing school and ended up at a school that was b/s and not accredited. I've been here almost a year and half and I'm so home sick....I know I should go home but that would be like giving up everything that I have worked for. I found a new school and got evicted........What a freaking pair all in the same month. The tuition there is 40,000. I have to pay 500 in to start......Not to mention paying on the loans from the other school. Right now I just feel like nothing is going right. I have an apartment lined up but I'm not even sure if I'll have the money for school and to sign the lease on time....Its all so frustrating and I don't want to tell my family everything thats going on because they would be so stressed and they wouldn't know what to do eanyway......I just want to screammmm......so bad and I just keep telling my self to pray and not cry that I can fix all this and graduate man pray for me. I hope I can make it through all this......One step and say at a time....

Take a breath, hon.

We all make mistakes.  Things happen that are out of our control. Just know you are better equipped the next time around. This is NOT the end of the world, ok? Any loans you take out do NOT have to be repaid until 6 months after you graduate. If you are in school, the loans do not have to be paid - just make sure you do not have to make interest payments while you are attending.

Did the school tell you they were accredited? If they did and you found out otherwise - you might want to report them to the department of education. If the school falsified information in any way, turn them in.

Ok whats the worst that could happen if you tell your family?

Let's say they want you to come home. Is there any particular reason to stay in Florida? Or would it be possible for you to attend classes while you are living with your parents and just commute to classes? You could even get a part time or full time job near home and save some money. IF you do that, you could get a job at a local hospital which might even subsidize your education and save you a ton of money as well!

Let go of your pride. Call you parents and talk to them. Sometimes being responsible is knowing when to let others step in and help.
